Warehouse Coordinator (WH-2024-09-01)

Job Purpose


  • Providing logistics support to internal/external customers.
  • Assisting team lead on daily operations.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize the WMS to create, monitor, and complete all logistics jobs accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment between the system and physical handling processes. Maintain accurate online data and records to support warehouse operations and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that all jobs are completed within established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for invoicing, leveraging the WMS to streamline processes and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Generate reports and analyze data from the WMS to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as job completion and invoicing. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve operational efficiency, customer service, and overall warehouse performance.
  • Serve as the primary user and administrator of the WMS for updating warehouse operations and order fulfilments
  • Provide excellent Customer Service and be the main Liaison Office for key customers, appointed forwarder and warehouse for related shipment handling Operations and co-ordinate activities between stakeholders via Container Transport Operation staff, Customers, BSL inter-departments.
  • Plan container devanning operations and staff deployment with the aim of ensuring business continuity and realizing service and business excellence
  • Ensure regular market research on shipping related cost to ensure all shipping cost are within control and stay competitive
  • Take on other job tasks as and when assigned by the superior

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Ability to work harmoniously with others in the team.
  • Ability to provide admin support, billing and work with “eye for details”.
  • Ability to speak and write simple English.
  • Minimum GCE “O” level with simple office admin and customer service experiences.
